CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES – SATELLITE MEDIA TOUR WITH ARNOLD DONALD, PRESIDENT & CEO
The Monday after Super Bowl Sunday 2015, Arnold Donald, President & CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines, came to HD Broadcast AZ for a Satellite Media Tour. The goal was to discuss not only the great Super Bowl advertisement – “Come Back to the Sea” – but also to talk about new marketing strategies for Carnival who carries 1 of every 2 passengers booking a cruise.
Catering by Chef Jean Ekobo added value to the early morning experience which ran from 5 AM until 10:30 AM as we made the way around the country from FOX NEWS to Bloomberg to Westwood One Radio Network to network affiliate stations to syndicated television shows. The NewTek TriCaster enabled HD Broadcast AZ to add great production value as well as simultaneous streaming and recording options. Audio was done with all digital audio equipment. Cue cards were printed for SMT hosts and cities so that Arnold Donald knew who he was speaking to so that he could customize his delivery to fit the station/network.
We added two additional sets of headphones so that Carnival’s Marketing Team could listen to the broadcasts live in our studio. A full complement of professionals – Technical Director, TriCaster Operator, Cameraman, Audio Engineer, Floor Manager, and Production Assistant – combined with our professional makeup artist and chef/caterer for a successful Satellite Media Tour.
